Going to give these slots a ride to Brant Island

This was the pic and report that I got from Justin after catching the pups and off to search for the mass of big drum which literally disappeared through a moon lit night.   He did not find them

Yes, there are still some around, kind of like a reverse coronacurve, but the peak has passed.   Hopefully the Coronapanic will also disapear as abruptly as the drum, my prediction is a dramatic decrease on Nov. 3.

Go vote.   Early voting starts in NC on Oct. 15-31.

full moon coming

 and just like that, Houdini

Thursday, September 24, 2020

yes they do bite in the wind

Epic bite continues

but may dramatically fall off on our side of the sound on the next full moon.

Will still be some big uns around and the light tackle action is incredible and should remain so through the rest of this screwed up year.

Guide Day Off

When the customers say it's just too rough......the guides go fishing

Excellent fishing continues despite the blow.

Epic

Double digit half days with the big 'uns.

I wonder if the corkers hate bait fishing as much as I hate corking

The corkers are going to love it today.

Meatheads will struggle until the light gets a little low, but this picture sums up our last few days.

yes it has been wet out there

Better bring your rain gear this time of year.  Rain and inclimate weather are not reasons for cancellation.

XX = Double Digits

--Remember when we get more than 10, that is a gracious plenty.  Big catches are simply referred to as "double digits".   We might get mad at them from time to time, but no one is out ot break any records......that is just too much work and would be called "triple digits".

"We had an epic day with Justin.   Caught XX big drum and the people with me had never caught a big fish before.  They were in awe.  Trevie has put pictures of her fish all over Instagram.  Thanks dude for hooking us up.  I wanna go back again in next 2 weeks and try em again".......Bonner
