Three minutes after lines in the water we released our first sail, but could not hold on to the lead with 21 sailfish releases for the day.  We only missed 3 sails so our hook up ratio was impressive.   The minature striped marlin that we missed 3 times in the same turn hurt us.  That one costs us the daily and potentially third place.   It does feel good to be a little more competitive.

Thank you Marc for the invite to go fishing.  I'm sorry that I pushed you out of the way on your own boat to grab the rod that had the big black marlin on it.  I never had a fish that beat me up so bad that I vomitted after release.   I think we were both relieved not to be attached any longer.  Anna put some video up on facebook.
