I also never had a time when we were not responsible for connecting guides with customers at wee hours of the morning or a time when we did not have to monitor customer travels around the globe. 

We got none of that going on right now so if I don't pick up the phone, leave a message, I'll get in touch with you when I get back into the "office".

Meanwhile, we have guides in position to take people for the essential activity of "fishing for food" in Roanoke Rapids/Weldon, New Bern/Oriental and Morehead City/Atlantic Beach.

Government Be Ware

Shutting down public beaches and waterways or determining if a business is "essential" and shutting their doors is one step away from civil disobedience.

It is shameful to see so many sheep.    Baaaa. Baaaaa.  Baaaa  Bang!

Coronapanic and social distancing

Isolate from the older generation,  practice social distancing, do what is absolutley necessary to keep those who are vulnerable as safe as possible, but the world should not shut down. 

This is a failed fire drill with devastating economic consequences.   For sure this will help us learn how to do things when the Big One comes around. 

All this said, no one should question the decisions folks have to make for their family and we respect those decisions.   We will be forwarding deposits to future reservations, however, we will not be making cancellations on this end. 

For those who do not suffer from the coronapanic or coronavirus and are healthy, we have healthy guides available to take groups of 4 or less. 

Greg has a boat load of shad and a double limit of stripers from Weldon today, yes, there are catchable numbers of stripers already that far up the river.

…..for what it’s worth, fishing has been pretty good.  Dozen shots at sails each day with almost daily shots at marlin, a few dorado and good tuna fishing.

Coronapanic

New word for the dictionary.  Being from North Carolina, we don't cancel our week vacation when a storm comes off of Africa. In short, we are real people and everyone is in a different situation.  The sunshine kills Corona, we are here and waiting to accommodate you if you can make it.

Dragin Fly was again competitive but not enough to make the podium.   Just  a few bites behind the leader going into the last leg of the Los Suenos Triple Crown.

Christ Episcopal Church at 1 pm, followed by reception there at the church and a less formal reception at the Bridge Point Hotel and Marina at 6 pm.

The Bridge Point is also where rooms are reserved for out of town guests.
