The boys just got in. Mr. Hugh Chatham has 5 of the 9 billfish species on the fly, lacking Atlantic and Pacific blue marlin, a sword, a spearfish. On day 1 he checked off his Pacific blue marlin. Actually he caught 2 on day 1. He was under the tutorial of Capt. Jake Jordan who took a few shots and landed his 50th blue marlin on the fly for his lifetime. He also caught a sail on the fly but lost his shot at a grand slam backing off the drag a little late on what he thought was a sail and turned out to be a striped marlin, breaking him off. After 3 days of fishing, 25 blue marlin raised, 2 striped marlin raised and a sailfish, getting 12 bites on the fly, landing 7 blue marlin and the sailfish,all on 20# IGFA fly tackle.
