Tarpon win local tarpon tournament

After 3 days of hard looking and some hard fishing, I have still yet to see a tarpon.   Yes, there have been several seen and even a couple of reported hook ups, but none were landing in yesterday's 3rd Annual Pamlico Tarpon Tournament.    I guess that tarpon won this time.   I'm going to give them a break and will be sending reports from Alaska.
